Computer Rations

` It's Sunday, just after my last post. I'm listening to live jazz music at Wired and Unplugged. It's crazy. Much better than whispering. I don't know why, but I can never seem to get on the internet at the library for very long anymore, whether or not the computer's been booked. On top of that, I can't even check my e-mail without their crappy Internet Explorer crashing!

` Part of the reason that my photo posts have been delayed since February are because I've had to load in each photo at a time to start with, and later on, format them to their actual or close-to-actual sizes.

` Thankfully, I've finally done all of that - it took such a long time because my Image Shack account became scrambled and I had to search individually for each photo in order to get the proper dimensions.
` Another reason I hate the library is because after I get logged off for no discernible reason, I can't sign back in - unless, of course, the computer doesn't recognized that I'd logged in to begin with. So, if the computer doesn't like me, I can't get any computer time that day - except for the usual free pass for the fifteen-minute computer.
` On top of that, once I'm logged in I have to either stay there and put up with anything that unexpectedly starts going down, or just give up my daily ration. This is a bad thing because another problem I have had since early childhood is the fact that whispering makes me horny.

` It's caused about half the problems I've had with other people; they just never understood (and so I was continually punished), and I don't expect anyone to now.
` For some strange reason, about half the time after I sit down at the computer, someone moves over next to me and starts whispering back and forth with someone else.
` It's kind of like being molested. Sort of.
` But then I can't get back off and wait around for a computer to be free later because I won't be able to sign back on! What if I'm in the middle of something and I have 50 minutes left?

` Grrraagh!

` But hey, most things in my life are pretty good at the moment. On Saturday morning, I had woken up at 6:30 to the sight of a freshly-showered Lou Ryan before he had gotten dressed.
` I thought to myself: "Tasty."
` That night, I ran into yet another guy after hanging out at Zippy's watching One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest on the projector.
` It's kinda scary how close modern mental hospitals resemble what was depicted in the movie.
` Anyway, he's yet another guy who I may or may not consider dating. You see, I have kind of an open relationship with Lou. Which is good. I need to figure out exactly who I click with, as far as attempting to relieve some of the pressure of my largely-unexpressed sex drive that continues to ruin my life day after day.

` So far, my progress on this matter has been pretty slow. For example - it's now Tuesday - this morning I was awakened by Lou's lusty and affectionate attacks, and yet I was not so motivated as to vigorously strike back despite the fact that this was the only thing I wanted to do.
` Perhaps my attacks on other men will turn out better?

` Oh well, I'd better leave soon before the timer kicks me off. I have a computer repair service to call - my own personal internet's right around the corner!

You might try buying some earplugs. They are wonderful for soothing the soul in a noisy environment. And most of our hearing loss of old age is caused by exposure to noise. Good luck!

` I tried some really super-powerful earplugs... I could barely tell the difference with them in as with them out. They probably only blocked out 10% of all noise!
` What works is when I press my earlobes into my ears, I think this is because the blood rushing through them creates white noise.
` However I can't type while I'm doing that. I've tried making devices that squash my earlobes in there, but they aren't tight enough to make a seal.
