How we are getting along...

I had a couple friends over today, one of whom I haven't seen in years (who drew the Botox Bee!), but when they went away I got really nauseous and had trouble getting out of bed. Later on, I decided to relax and take it easy, so I bought some Best Yogurt in the World and settled down to listen to a podcast on my MP3 player... and the MP3 player wouldn't turn on! It just broke, somehow!

Just when I thought it was safe to take a break...

So, I wolfed down the rest of the Best Yogurt in the World in order to get to Fred Meyer before it closed and bought an even better MP3 player (though they did not have more Best Yogurt in the World), and when I finally hooked it up to Lucas' Mac, the Mac wouldn't connect to the internet, so I spent an hour working on that, calling the cable company etc, and finally got it to recognize our wireless network and log in.

Though I can't figure out how to access the player from the Mac, I can still download stuff onto it, and can delete each item on the player itself so I don't need to even see it on a computer. My only complaint so far with this player, the itty-bitty Sansa Clip, is that it automatically shuffles and there's no way to listen to my podcasts in chronological order, which is the order in which I downloaded them, so I'm having to search for each episode at a time in order to listen to them in order.

*Sigh* And I thought yesterday was eventful!

But hey, at least I had forty bucks lying around so I could spend it on an MP3 player! I'm so used to needing every cent in order to pay bills, tires, etc., but we finally have money despite the fact that I've been robbed of several thousand dollars. (Credit cards = eviller than I ever imagined!)

Maybe someday soon I'll be able to buy a laptop so I can have my own computer! Whoo! I know B-Gangsta (Brad) will be able to buy his own computer because not only does he have a TV show coming up soon, but he's the general manager at a Mexican restaurant (he also speaks perfect Mexican Spanish) and also he has his own car now and is working on getting his lisence!

Anyway, gotta go, just popping on here to tell you that nothing but regular old hecticity going on. Hopefully I'll have more gigs to tell you all about next time!

Time for bed! Later!

Hi Sarah! Sorry to hear your MP3 player broke, but I'm glad you were able to afford to get a new one.

Sounds like one of those days where if it's not one thing, it's another going wrong.

Cool that you got to see your friends, though. A laptop would be fun to have. I'd like to get one someday, but can't right now. I'm happy for you. :)

Every day seems to be that way! Just yesterday, just when I was starting me homework, I was unexpectedly commissioned to drive Brad home from work (he's getting another car so he can take his driver's test!) and that wiped out an hour and fifteen minutes from my day, and I was too tired to do my homework when I came back - I was falling asleep at the wheel and everything!

I hate highway driving.
