Sneak Peeks 12 - A hot hike up a cold mountain...

Ahoy, mateys! Superhero Lou Ryan and myself are off to Mount Pilchuck for a lovely hot summer's day hike....

And typical of a hot summer's day, the sun is shining, I'm as pimply as ever....

...and there's plenty of snow on the ground!

Luckily, Lou Ryan and I have big, bulging muscles to keep us warm!

The trees, however, were not faring so well....

It all makes for superb lighting conditions, though....

Yep, we slid and trudged through this whole thing....

In fact, I even managed to pass Lou Ryan - hello down there!

Nice view, huh?

That one's Mount Baker....

Sure is topsy-turvy up here....

So, what happened when we got to the top? And how on earth did we get back down without slipping and breaking our necks? Oh no!! I'm such a bastard right now because...

TO BE CONTINUED!

Snow on a mountain?! Surely not! I think you're just good with your hands on the keyboard with a CGI package, lol.
How long did it take you to get up there? I'm pretty sure I know how you got back down again .... on your miniature skis that you had packed away in your backpacks. Right???

p.s. I can definitely see that it was a little nippley up there ;-)

Oh no! I wonder if you got back down? Maybe you're still stranded up there and we need to send in a St. Bernard!
:D

Love the mountain view shots---how gorgeous. Thanks for letting us hike with you. Everything is flat as a pancake here. Nothing but cornfields and wheat fields and soybean fields.

By the way I really hate these darned bendy letters!

Impressove photos, Sppony! (I hate me ney keyvoarf.) Snusyu, (Is that a word? Oh. Better!)

Anyway, I'm willing to bet that Daisy is correct and that you are still up there. You don't seem to have been online for the past couple of weeks, nor received either of my emails!
This is why, of course, it's been such a long time since I've come around here --I have no Spoonies to bug me and remind me of these things!
If it turns out that a bear has eaten you, I shall have to blast it with my Peel 37 Explosive Space Modulator! I hope you're doing fine!

Do you like your little John Lennon glasses?

Yes, they are so groovy - if cheap and old and beaten up - though aren't very useful when you're trying to avoid snowblindness.
` Except, there wasn't any snow, as you have already figured everything out.... Tee hee!
` Glad you enjoyed the nippliness! (Well, I couldn't go around wearing a regular shirt, dripping sweat as I was!)

Sorry about the bendy letters, Daisy. I put them up after having to delete reams of spam - even so I deleted one World of Warcraft spam shortly after it was posted, and the next day my inbox was packed with comment notifications - guess I pissed him off!
` This hacker somehow managed to put even more spam on nearly three hundred posts over the course of a few minutes!
` You would not believe how long it took me to delete them all. I don't know why I bothered, seeing as I was terrified he'd pull something else.... Just standing up for my blog, I guess.

Fortunately, Galtron, I've just been taking a break from the internet for a while. It started when my mom and bro were visiting and I barely had time to check my email.
` So, I got involved with other projects and just kind of forgot about the internet for some time.
` Maybe a bear will eat me next time?

Neat! You need to take a blank off the end of each image link so that the big versions of the pictures show up on the first try.

Cara! Thanks. And uh... no thanks.

Mona Albano: I don't know what you mean, but I gather it has something to do with my difficulties with my new photo hosting site. Can you please clarify?
