Sneak Peeks 6 - More Catly Goodness!

Violet is now pretty well-acquainted with the neighbor's cat...

Meanwhile, Vada has resigned herself to being a Top Shelf Cat. Whatever that means....

So that's who's been leaving feet-marks on my car!

Violet and Vada tie at tug-of-war!

Now Vada tries to play it with my shirt tie! Must... pull... Mommy!

Violet is so chillin' in this hot weather!

However, Vada is still lookin' wacked!

The horrors!

I never thought of Vada as much of a jungle cat...

Next time; Me-y goodness, with all kinds of neat thingies everywhere!

Lovely pictures again. I am amazed your neighbor's cat is friendly towards your cats.

Hmm... what happened to my comment from the day before? It was really long and mentioned some things you might not realize from the photos.

Oh well. Cats really are wonderful, aren't they? Especially when they can be around other cats without hissing at them!

Seequine, I was thinking about something related today, concerning dogs.

Why are dogs usually so hostile to other dogs they so much as hear for the first time?

All that barking and display of aggression! Why can't they just be friendly or ignore each other?

I don't get it.

Even the tiniest dog gets all aggy and huffs and puffs at the sight of a bigger dog (as long as it is carefully tucked behind its owners legs or behind a house fence! lol).

By the way, I totally adore the nose patch on Vada.

And she is one intelligent looking cat. In "almost" (lol) all the pictures she looks like she is figuring out the next equation for the theory on relativity.

Or something like that! :-p

I dunno, I think it's because dogs are territorial pack animals and tend to be defensive. Some dogs get along great, actually.

And as for Vada... I guess she does look pretty spiffy, for a cat with strabismus.
` Speaking of Vadas, she demands that I hug her after a long day of errands.... "Meoooowwr!"

My cat demands a hug after a long day of HIM doing his own errands out in the garden, which is mainly chasing insects and rolling around on his back.

He comes bounding up the stairs, screaming his little lungs out (not meowing, screaming as in HOWLING!). Then he gets to me and jumps right on top my chest for a cuddle.

Then he drools all over me. First cat I ever know that drools when happy.

LOL!! I'm so glad my cats lick rather than drool; I've actually known so many drooly cats and it gets everywhere!
