Yay for things more important than blogging!
` But no hard feelings. If it makes you feel better, here's a photo of a beautiful carnivorous marsupial fossil as it was found in Flightstar cave! Then, the skeleton was laid out in a museum! And some brilliant artistic person made a computer model (not generally my favorite kind of reconstruction art) of what the beast looked like in real life.
` Yes, not related to dogs and cats, but nevertheless something worthy of dread of things with sharp, rodent-like teeth and killer thumb claws! Anyway, I'm up way past my bedtime and I have to get to school at nine the next morning!
` Boo hoo....
` There will be more vacation photos up at some point or another... maybe something else if I have time.
` P.S. I get the idea that Nociceptor's been screwing around with medium-sized ratite birds. Don't be surprised if you walk into the lab in the near future and find some kind of razor-clawed beast.

I like that fossil's hands! If you could, please kick Nociceptor for me. I'm interested in seeing a deadly ratite!
I'm going to have nightmares of that thing now so thanks a lot!!!! ;)
` Does it remind you of the ferocious rats of Ireland?
It looks a little like this guy I used to work with.
Hey! I checked out those most excellent videos you pointed me to. My nights haven't been restful since then.
RATS!!!! What rats??!! There are rats in Ireland?! Yikes!!!! Run. For. Your. Livessssssssss!!!!!!!
` I'm glad you're deeply disturbed, Dan! So glad. When a man gets his period... it's time to get out the brain bleach.
` Gareth, don't you know? They're the size of cats, in fact!
` So much the easier to catch leprechauns....
