My days here are numbered...
` ...so, how about some pictures of the inside of the apartment?
` Currently, it's kind of a mess because we're moving stuff around, so I'm reluctant to take many pictures. The bedroom, for example, is full of boxes, so I may not photograph that room at all!
` As it is, Phil and EdgeWalker are now picking out furniture for when I'm gone. What do you think of their new 'lamp from Mars'?
` Watch out it doesn't drain you of your bodily fluids!! Also in the picture are Phil's antique Art Deco globe, his map of the islands and stuff outside the window, a Monet poster - oh, and his microfiber couch. Boy does that stuff repel chocolate-coffee syrup!
` Below is the lamp that had previously been in the corner, next to Butter Cookies on her scratching post.
` Shoulda adjusted the lamp, but I didn't think there was a problem with the way the image came out. (See last post.) Like I said, I'd improve the brightness and all, but Phil doesn't have a suitable photo editing program.
` Oh, such tragedy! I shall have to go without!
` The fact that my pictures tend to look just fine on the camera also explains why I didn't bother to retake this other picture (where I really needed to turn the hall light on)....
` Perhaps someday, I shall get a chance to photoshop these, but for now, this is all I have:
` Notice the ugly Salvador Dali painting in the background. (It's not even ours!) I call it 'the face dog fruit bowl'. It's also called 'Apparition'.
` You know... it's amazing how small this place looks in photos. The living room is actually about 10x20 feet or so.
` The kitchen, which is visible from the living room, is almost half that size....
` Okay, that was way too dark - even though it looked fine on my stupid crappy camera - so I took another one today:
` Well, that's a slight improvement. (Coulda just turned on the lights!) Anyway, if you're not too tired of these, I'll put up some more tomorrow. It's much easier than writing something!!!

It looks like an awesome apt. Too bad you can't kick the guys out!!
no doubt!!!
looks FUN - but maybe a few LESS melted clocks and more MAD SCIENTIST ARTWORK!!!!!!
do you get to keep the lamps?
it should be your parting gift....
` Yeah, I really like this apartment, but unfortunately it's nearly $1,200 a month!
` You know what's funny? The only piece of artwork of mine hanging up is in the bathroom. An insult!!!
` As far as lamps go, the ones in the bedroom will be mine. ...Not that I'll have any room for them in my new closet... er... living space.
Can I move in once you're gone? ;)
` Not unless you wanted to negotiate over the couch with Phil and EdgeWalker....
